So I lied....

I said I would write in this thing everyday (or at least try to). And I haven't been on in exactly 2 months. I'm bad at keeping up with things..

So I will update on what's been going on with all of us and our lives. :]

Hailey, oh my sweet child. Since the last time I posted, Hailey has turned into much more of a rambunctious and stubborn child with an attitude enough for 3 adults in one. She's a feisty little one for sure. Currently she is sick with a pretty icky virus. It all started when I got home from work last night. I come home and she's warm, a fever of 101.1. Not too bad but enough to say that her body is definitely fighting something. MOrning comes around and she's 101.1. I gave her some Motrin and it brought it down to 99. Awesome! She and I chill out in bed all day because I know she needs to rest and she was pretty much attached at my hip. She falls asleep at 9:30am (oh, btw she's been super sleepy this entire time and still is). I fall asleep not too soon after. She wakes up at 12:30. I take her temp and it's jumped to 102.2 in just a matter of 4-5 hours. I call my dad, he calls the doc for me and she gets an appt for 2:45. I go to the bathroom, do a couple things and go back to Hailey. Within those few minutes (less than 5), something tells me to check her temp again. So I do. Holy crap it's 103.3! In less than 5 minutes her temp spiked over a degree! Oh boy. We decide it's time to get her temp down and keep her cool (like they advised on the phone to do until it was time for her appt). We stick towels in the freezer (to get them cool). Then toss her in a cool (not cold but not lukewarm) bath. We keep her in there until she asks to get out. About an hour before the appt. The towel we use for her is the ones we stuck in the freezer so they're nice and cool, but again not ice cold either. We leave for the appt and she's still burning up. We go in, see the doc and doc said she's fine, it's just the virus going around and just plenty of rest and water will help her. So she's currently sleeping on the bed with a fever of 101, yet she has chills (doc wasn't worried about those). Poor baby seems so miserable. :[ She'll get better soon enough though. She always does. She's a bounce back quick kinda kid. :D

Drew....I haven't seen him for almost a week now and it sucks. His family went on vacation again this year. And again over his birthday (it was yesterday). Sucky. And not to mention he and I aren't exactly perfect still. I'm still kinda irked at him about something that he knows I don't approve of at all that he let happen anyway. But whatever...I can't change it. :/ Other than that, he and I are great. No problems. Still 1000% in love. We've kinda changed the plans for the wedding a bit. We came to the realization that trying to save up enough money for a 300+ guest wedding, an apartment, and a car for myself in less than 2 years is way too unrealistic. So we're gonna try and keep the same date,, do a smaller wedding with the local family/friends. And then have a BIG wedding later on down the road like we originally planned with all the family and friends. It's just the most logical way for us to do it right now. So yes, we're still planning a wedding. Just smaller than originally planned. lol.

Me, oh what to say about my life. I've been working a lot lately. Which sucks sometimes, but I won't complain too much, we could really use the money. My 2 lovely babes got me a Nook for Mother's Day. It's like the Kindle just smaller and cheaper and it's Barnes and Noble's version. I LOVE it. It's so much easier to read my gooks now and there's lots of free ones to choose from too! I found authors that I didn't even know existed with this thing. lol. It's great and I love it. Of course, I got the 2 year warranty on it because of the little destructive monster that is my child. Just in case. That's been about it. Nothing too exciting...

Again, I'll try and keep updating this. If not, I'll at least update whenever something exciting happens. :P
